The “Backdoor” to Mindsight (Blindfold Vision) for Parents
In my experience facilitating mindsight (blindfold vision) activation for children, the parent has also been interested in activating their own mindsight. It has not been unusual for parents to report experiencing their own activation through the “backdoor”.
The front door to mindsight is the same for parents as it is for everyone else. The front door is doing a workshop or taking classes, reading a book or watching videos, and practicing. The backdoor is the parent activating through their child.
If you are a parent, you’ve already noticed that up to a certain age, children naturally imitate in their play. In the Radiant Sight mindsight (blindfold vision) classes I provide for children, it has been common for children to spontaneously play “blindfold vision class” with their parents between their sessions with me. The parents are the students, and the child plays the teacher. When parents have played along in a lighthearted way, it has actually worked. The parents have started to see through the mask! It hasn’t always happened, but it’s happened that way quite a bit.
I have also seen older children (tweens and teens) who facilitated the activation of their parents. The older children did not engage in the spontaneous pretend play of early childhood. In these scenarios, the child seemed to be inspired by their own success and breakthroughs, and by a combination of newfound confidence, curiosity and playfulness.
